A successful and well established company is in need of a Business Development Manager to expand its already thriving market share in the bespoke colour masterbatch and additives market. My client has had success on the ground across Europe and this exciting new opportunity has arisen because of company growth.

Job Title – Business Development Manager
Industry – Custom Colour and Additives/Bespoke solutions/Masterbatch
Location – North England
Package - uncapped OTE £80,000, Car, Laptop, Phone

The Role
As the Business Development Manager you will be based anywhere in the north of the UK (Birmingham and above), and be charged with selling a range of masterbatch colours and additives into a variety of industries (including automotive, IT and telecoms). Their solutions target anything that is plastic, so this includes mobile phones, computer houses etc. The role will be to target new business, but also to manage a whole range of existing accounts.

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this Business Development Manager position must have a proven track record of sales, preferably within a similar industry (Plastics/Chemicals/Rubber) and it would be desirable to have sold into the Automotive, Packaging, Cosmetics, Medical or Wire and Cables industry. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree in a Chemistry related field.

The Package
For this Business Development Manager role you will receive a salary of up to £60,000 basic (depending on experience). Because of the success of the products, it is feasible for a strong sales person to achieve a bonus of 20% of basic salary on top. Additional benefits include a company car, laptop and phone.
