Key responsibilities:

Key responsibilities:
- Prepare interim and year-end financial statements under various accounting standards, including IFRS and FRS 102.
- Contribute to the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of client audit packs and support audit engagements.
- Provide support for data migration to operating systems, ensuring accuracy of client financial information.
- Administer and control internal systems, including adding new ledgers and transactions.
- Handle any ad hoc operational duties as required by the business.
- Demonstrate strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail; be a flexible team player capable of working under time pressure.


Financial Reporting Accountant

JOB PURPOSE: This role will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of a portfolio of more complex structures, dealing with clients & intermediaries on a daily basis, reporting to the team manager to pro-actively develop and build solutions to meet client needs and grow long term relationships. You will also provide support to your Manager and provide cover for them during absences.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The holder of this position should be educated to degree level, ideally in a business related subject such as law or accountancy and be a member of a relevant professional body.  The post holder should have a a proven track record in fiduciary services, with at least 3 to 5 years management experience and some corporate experience.
