As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities selling an innovative and extensive portfolio of Microbiology Lab Testing Kits. You will play a pivotal part in the growth of this company as it is looking to expand its business nationwide in the water treatment, pharmaceutical and clinical industries. You will be responsible for cold calling laboratories and setting appointments and will primarily be based on the field closing deals face to face. You will be able to communicate confidently and concisely to decision makers such as laboratory managers. As a Business Development Executive, you will be expected to manage existing key accounts and generate new business.
The ideal Business Development Executive will be both a hunter and a farmer and will have a track record of success closing deals face to face. The ideal Business Development Executive will have experience in a consultative approach to selling. The Ideal candidate will have experience in closing deals ranging from £20,000 up to £100,000 and be comfortable hitting targets in and around the £1 million per year mark. You will be able to work well independently and in a team. You will be able to dive into a new industry and possess excellent knowledge of the products. You will also be highly enthusiastic and be able to think outside of the box.
As a Business Development Executive selling an extensive portfolio of microbiology testing kits, you will receive a basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience. Along with this you will also receive a car allowance along with benefits. You will part of a dynamic young and friendly team in a forward thinking and innovative company.
