Associate Director, Structural Engineering
Exciting opportunities have arisen for talented engineers with an interest in management and getting on in life! I want to share my knowledge with you about several openings:
Just one example…
This is a clear opportunity to progress and become a full Director as quickly as 12-months due to incumbent directors retiring and the company not being top heavy. Shares could be bought in 3-years (or immediately for the right person) and methods of funding the lump sum could be discussed at that point. The company has a clear track-record of growing embryonic teams and the candidate will be joining a small but growing team that will continue to grow and develop over the next 30-years or so. The company is driven from the top and a good quality, innovative long and interesting career awaits the new team members. The current team like James’s (the MD) approach and he was consultant of the year not long ago. He helps them develop into managers through his support and mentoring. The company sells through doing a good job. One of their projects was awarded as a Winner and two more becoming Finalists at the East Midlands LABC Building Excellence Awards. Over 450 industry professionals attended the awards evening
Features and benefits: I should keep the salary range quite broad as it really does depend on you. Let’s say starting at £45K…
37.5 contracted hours
Able to start early/late
Payment of up to two Professional Subscriptions
Payment of training courses including Chartership preparation courses and support
20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus one-week Christmas closure (at Directors discretion)
3% Company Pension contribution
There are Christmas and summer get-togethers and families are invited. Other social activities have included visits to National Trust sites with lunch for all
Bonus scheme and this is being worked out
CPD training across the group
It is a social and collaborative atmosphere; the work is interesting and no one gets bored!??
Community: According to “The Telegraph”;
The Shakespearean Midlands town of Warwick is great for seekers of job security and prosperity. Unemployment here is only 3pc and 68pc of people own their own home.
That paycheck will also provide you with a high standard of living. Warwick is an affluent area with high average wages and upmarket leisure activities including literary and folk festivals.
So, what does the company expect from me?
Mission: To join the company, quickly take over projects including technical delivery, manage and mentor more junior staff helping them progress their careers.
Outcomes: The new person will take over existing accounts and maintain harmony with the clients. Contact will also be made with new prospects resulting in smaller introductory jobs and continued profits for the company.
Chartered Engineer-MIStructE. Non-Chartered engineers should get in touch-let’s talk…

Breadth of experience ranging from small domestic projects to circa £30m industrial, commercial, and educational schemes
Buildings experience (those with only O&G exposure will not be considered)
