Description
Public Practice recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson and excitied to be working with a Top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants in Cheltenham who are recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.
The successful applicant will have experience assisting on external Audits for a variety of clients involving performing substantive testing, the preparation of year end statutory accounts, and will have begun studying towards the ACA/ACCA qualifications (AAT qualified also considered).
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and (ideally) Caseware. You should also have a good understanding of UKGAAP accounting fundamentals and applications.

Responsibilities
Assisting on Audits
Preparing the audit plan and conducting fieldwork
Performing substantive testing
Corporation Tax computations
Dealing with ad hoc client queries
Building strong client relationships
Requirements
ACA/ACCA Student/Part Qualified
AAT Qualified also considered
Experience of assisting on audit assignments (minimum one year)
Practice experience is essential
