Description
An alternative provision based in Camden, NW1, is currently looking for experienced Behaviour Mentors who are passionate about making a difference in their pupils’ lives to join them from January 2023. The role will be a full-time role (Monday – Friday) and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the potential of a permanent contract upon completion.
The successful Behaviour Mentors will be working across Key Stages 3 to 4 providing 1:1 and group support for pupils who are showcasing challenging behaviour. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to easily form positive working relationships with challenging pupils and will be enthusiastic, passionate and tenacious.
The majority of your time within the school will be spent working alongside teachers and other Behaviour mentors to inspire and motivate pupils to re-focus on their academic requirements. You will also be expected to provide social and emotional support and be a positive role model for all pupils.
If you have previous experience as a Special Needs teaching assistant or learning support assistant working with extensive experience with challenging behaviour you would be an ideal candidate for this role. This is also a great opportunity for experienced Youth Workers.
PAY - £85 - £110 a day.

The ideal candidate:
• Experience with Challenging Behaviour
• The ability to work effectively with challenging family backgrounds
• Good behaviour management
• Minimum of 6 months experience within a school or child-related environment
