Behavioural support assistant - full time, January start
Axcis Education are looking for a unique individual to work as a behavioural support assistant in a large secondary school in south Bristol full time and from January 2023. This work will involve supporting students when their behaviour slips and need to be spoken with as to why their behaviour is either not okay or if they are in need of some sort of support or if there is a route cause in their behaviour. This work is not working with one or two pupils in particular but rather supporting the wider student body.
This work is a long term contract lasting till July with the potential to go on for longer in the next academic year. We are looking for someone who has lots of empathy, strong boundaries and a thick skin, along with able to handle daily challenges that come with supporting students of this nature. Hours are 8:30 -3:30 and Monday to Friday.
In order for us to consider you for work you will need to hold a enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
