Description
Public Practice recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson, are recruiting for a Bookkeeper on behalf of a forward-thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants in London.
The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified (AAT Part Qualified or QBE also considered) from a practice background, with strong double entry bookkeeping skills and a good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero, Sage and/ or Quickbooks.
The role will involve the preparing accounts to trial balance, VAT returns, CIS returns, bank reconciliations, purchase & sales ledger, liaising directly with clients and dealing with ad hoc queries.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparing accounts to trial balance
Undertaking bookkeeping for clients
Preparing VAT returns
CIS returns
Bank reconciliations
Purchase & Sales Ledger
Maintaining up to date complete financial records
Liaising with multiple clients at any one time, maintaining and developing relationships
Dealing with client queries
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Requirements:
AAT Qualified (ideally)
AAT Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience also considered.
Knowledge of Sage & Xero desirable
Experience of working in practice is essential
