Description
Public Practice recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson, are thrilled to be working with a well known and leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Chester who due to continued growth are seeking a Business Services Manager to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious ACA/ ACCA Qualified Senior/ Assistant Manager looking for their next step up or a current Manager wanting to consolidate their position with a progressive accountancy practice.
The successful candidate will become an important part of the leadership team working closely with a number of Partners, be involved in regular client meetings, ad-hoc specialist projects, managing junior staff, delegating work and business development activities.
You will be responsible for managing your own diverse portfolio of clients from an array of sectors, providing accounts and tax services.

Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
Preparation and review of statutory accounts
Preparation and review of Tax compliance
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Dealing with HMRC and other third parties
Training junior staff and reviewing their work
Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
Business development
Requirements
ACA/ ACCA/ CTA Qualified
Experience of managing a client portfolio
A strong background in accountancy practice
Good communication skills
