Public Practice Recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson, are pleased to be working alongside an leading firm of chartered accountants in St Albans who are seeking to recruit a Business Services Senior to join their ever growing team.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified (QBE also considered), from a general practice background and will be experienced in the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, bookkeeping, tax compliance and dealing with client queries.

Responsibilities

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

Corporation tax computations

Preparation of VAT returns & bookkeeping

Preparation of management accounts

Personal tax returns

Liaising with HMRC

Dealing with client queries

Training and mentoring junior members of staff

Requirements

ACA or ACCA Qualified

Practice experience is essential (minimum of three years)

QBE also considered (minimum of five years)
