Our client, a well respected publisher located in London, is looking for an individual to join their busy logistics department to cover a maternity contract.

In this role you will provide operational support for the distribution management of publications in different markets both domestically as well as internationally, whilst ensuring a smooth flow of product throughout the supply chain.

The position is initially a 6 month maternity contract with the possibility of a permanent role. The post is reporting to the Distribution & Logistics Manager, the key focus areas are :

• Stock management and Sales Forecasting
• Data analysis and database management
• Administration
• Internal and external communication
• Cost control

The successful candidate will ideally have a background in a logistics and supply chain role. Candidates with a good knowledge of operational planning / management will be given due consideration.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following skills / attributes :

• A good working knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel) including pivot tables
• Numeracy
• Excellent communication
• Workload prioritization
• Flexibility

The Package:

Salary range £30k pro-rata in addition to benefits and an excellent working environment.
