Here at Axcis Education, we want to speak to you if you are looking to do adhoc shifts in schools. You may be in existing part-time work, you may be a parent or you may travel somewhere regularly and have the capacity to pick up an odd shift here and there. We can facilitate flexibility and will happily welcome people who can't commit to full-time or regular part-time work.

We will need to compliance clear you so that you remain readily available to pick up work when it comes in/when you are able to. This means you must have a DBS or you must be willing to get one!

You don't need to have worked as a TA previously, but we will be looking for someone who may have worked as the following:
- Care Assistant
- Nurse
- Social Worker
- Support Worker
- Foster Carer
- Babysitter
- Prison Worker
- Sports Coach/Mentor
- Youth Worker
- Nursery Manager
- Counsellor
- Guide leader/Scout Leader
- Outdoor Activity Facilitator

Alternatively, you may not have worked as any of the above but you may be a graduate of Education, or Psychology. Essentially, anything relevant to education, disabilities or working with children!

The work you would do in a school would be either general classroom TA support, or 1-1 support with a child with a type of SEND. You are welcome to tell us what environments you would rather work in and which you wouldn't feel comfortable going into. You may be in a Nursery, a Primary, a Secondary, a College or a SEND school.
