Higher level teaching assistants required
Axcis Education are looking for higher level teaching assistants to fulfil long term jobs or other roles that are more short term. Ideally we are looking for those interested in working within a primary or SEND school, but are happy to welcome anyone keen on working within secondary. In order for us to consider you for HLTA work you will need to hold a qualification in higher level teaching assistant. As part of being a HLTA you will be required to jump in other areas outside of perhaps your usual work within the school - for example you may be asked to cover classes when they are without a teacher for an afternoon. Ideally you would be running intervention groups with students that require extra support in their learning in a particular subject to help them catch up.
