Description
Axcis are looking for an experienced classroom assistant to work with a SEND pupil on a 1-1 basis who also needs support and has SEMH. The role is at a primary school in the Christchurch area starting in ASAP for the rest of the academic year.
The school is part of a well known trust in Christchurch who works tirelessly in teaching children through creative education to achieve their goals in a safe, happy and enjoyable environment. The school are proud of their community and this is a big ethos taught to the children. They were also rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted in 2020.
The suitable candidate for this position must have experience working with SEMH and ideally have supported primary age pupils as a teaching assistant. You will be assisting the teacher’s lesson plan and supporting the children with their school work, socialisation and any day to day duties throughout the school day whilst also developing the children’s independence and confidence.
This role starts in January 2023 and would be for the full academic year.
