Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant?
Do you have an interest in supporting SEND pupils on a 1:1 basis in a mainstream secondary school?
Axcis are working with a highly regarded secondary school in Bury who is currently recruiting for a number of learning support assistants to join the SEND team in the new academic year. The department is a supportive environment for the SEND pupils in the school and they promote teamwork, training and mutual respect with staff and pupils.
The ideal candidate must have experience as a teaching assistant or LSA ideally in a school setting. Experience working with SEND is also preferred and you must be prepared to support a wide range of SEND including ASD, SEMH, MLD, Dyslexia
The role is a full time post starting in January 2023 and would be for the rest of the academic year.
You will need a child and adult enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be able to pay (£44.36) to put one in to process.
