Salary: Grade I. Scale 35 - £41,496 to Scale 39 - £45,495.
Hours: 36 hours per week
Base Location: Fairfield Childrens Centre, Droylsden.

THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our clients Early Help Service; we are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Practice Manager, to work across the continuum of need, who is passionate about meeting children’s needs and seeking great outcomes for children and their families.
The successful appointee will manage and oversee intensive support and interventions delivered to families experiencing multiple and complex issues. The role will include undertaking direct line management of Family Intervention Workers and Senior Family Intervention Workers to ensure that a whole family approach to intervention is of the highest quality and evidence based.
As a manager, you will need to have a strong knowledge and understanding of Family assessments and partnership working. You will be expected to work in partnership with other services to effect real change for families and improve outcomes. You will be expected to take a lead role in supporting the FIW in working with families across transitions, to assist with challenge and negotiate traditional organisational boundaries, and ensure be-spoke interventions for child protection and children in need are delivered in partnership with the Social Worker
As part of the team you will work flexible across 7 days, on a rota basis working between the hours of 8am to 8pm daily. You will also be required to link closely with the out of hours services.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills which will enable them, to undertake effective family engagement which builds on a family’s strength and coping strategies, incorporating a strong degree of challenge for families to change, supporting and enabling them to resolve multiple and complex difficulties leading to sustainable change.
