Description
Axcis are looking for a qualified teacher to take on a role working in a SEND school located in the M40 area.
We are thrilled to be hiring for a SEND (special education needs and disability) school who are looking for a teacher to join them in their KS1 team. You will be teaching small groups of pupils with a range of additional needs. Experience in teaching pupils with SEND needs is desirable, however the desire to help pupils overcome barriers is essential.
The role will be to start ASAP, full-time. You will be required to work the hours of 8:30-4:30 Monday- Friday.
• You will be teaching pupils with a range of different additional needs, adapting lessons to meet their needs.
• You will be working with small class sizes, fully supported with a team of knowledgeable teaching assistants who know the pupils well.
• You will plan and deliver lessons to meet the abilities of all pupils.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher with QTS (essential)
• Be empathetic, patient and calm (essential)
• Be passionate in delivering well planned lessons that are catered for the various special needs of the students (essential)
• Have excellent behaviour management skills (essential).
• Be experienced in working with students with SEND needs (desirable)
