Description
I am looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to support at a mainstream primary school near Cinderford in The Forest Of Dean. This role is working Monday to Friday 08.30-3.15 and is to start as soon as possible. Due to the complex needs of the student, it is really important to find the right candidate.
This specific role is supporting a female pupil in reception who has an EHCP. Although she is reception age, her learning age is that of a 8-12 month old and she has Autism, Global Delay and Speech and language difficulties. The pupil doesn't have much understanding of things, has sensory needs and requires personal care too. She is physically able and can walk and run and likes to explore so the teaching assistant needs to physically be and always be thinking one step ahead.
This child had had a difficult and turbulent start to the academic year with different support and due to the child's needs, consistency is key so I am only really looking for someone who can work on a long term basis potentially until the end of the academic year for the right candidate. I am looking for a reliable, adaptable, resilient and knowledgeable TA to support the pupil and so if the above sounds like you and you are interested, please get in touch asap.
For this role, you must have an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the previous 3 years.
