Public Practice recruitment specialists, Crowe Watson, have been instructed on a excellent opportunity with a Top 10 firm of chartered accountants in Bristol who are seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join their tax team.

The ideal candidate will be ATT Qualified, CTA Qualified/Part Qualified with strong technical/compliance skills and ideally experience of managing their own portfolio of clients.

The role will involve working with a diverse client base including HNWI’s, non-domiciled individuals, directors, partnerships, trusts and as the role develops the successful individual will be exposed to more complex advisory work.

Responsibilities

Managing a diverse portfolio of clients
Preparation and review of Personal Tax returns
Identifying tax planning opportunities
Assisting the Partners & Management with consulting and advisory work
Compliance: Advisory split dependent on the individual
Reviewing the work of junior staff members
Liaising with HMRC
Dealing with client queries

Requirements

ATT Qualified / CTA Part Qualified/Qualified / QBE
Strong Personal/Private client tax experience within a practice environment
Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
Strong communication skills
