Description
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for a passionate and innovative secondary English and Maths Teacher for an independent school in South Devon. This school specialises in providing a very nurturing environment for pupils with class sizes no more than 12. Many of the pupils have ASC and SEMH. For this position, the teacher will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging lessons. The school has very supportive structure and there are great resources available to all teachers. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and friendly team where there is an excellent support network across the school.
This is a long-term temporary full time position, working 5 days a week from start January 202 until the end of the academic year 2023. The hours are 8.50am to 4.00pm. The daily pay rate is £150 to £190 depending on experience. This role could become permanent.
The school will consider applicants looking for part-time work.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and fully qualified Maths and / or English teacher that has worked with varied and mixed levels of ability. The suitable candidate will also need to be proactive, adaptable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team. The successful teacher will be confident in teaching Maths and / or English at GCSE level.
For this role, the ideal candidate must have -
QTS or Equivalent teaching qualification
An enthusiastic, committed and passionate educator.
Experience of working with ASD and SEMH
