Teaching Assistants SEMH TA PRU Behaviour KS3
A lovely alternative provision secondary (PRU) based in central Bristol is looking for a full time teaching assistant to support students in KS3 on a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups. You will need to be encouraging, positive and dedicated, and have experience in working in challenging environments.
The teaching assistant would be required to work with children who have social, emotional and mental health needs and are of a challenging nature, therefore it is essential for the right candidate to have good behaviour management techniques and is able to remain calm when in a challenging environment.
Working 1:1, and with small groups, you will support the pupils through their GCSE's, ensuring access to learning and assisting in overcoming learning barriers and helping achieve their full potential.
