Description
My client are a special school in Forest Hill, Lewisham , and they are looking for a SEND teacher to start in the new year.
Pupils have a range of SEND mostly consisting of autism, learning difficulties and social and communication difficulties. Classes at the school are small with a maximum of ten pupils. Each class is supported by at least two learning support assistants. The school is located within a very nice new building with lots of facilities .
They are looking for a teacher who fits the brief below:
Qualified teacher – no ECTs
Full time or part time teachers
UK trained primary teachers
KS1 experience
Experience with SEND preferred
Experience of PECs/Makaton would be a bonus
Teachers should be aware that any post would not be ‘cover’ as such, they would be expected to plan and prepare their own work and a proportion of time would be allowed for that.
Pay ranges from £140 to £170 depending on experience.
