Special needs teacher for SEND school - Trowbridge
Axcis Education is appealing to a teacher that would be interested in teaching at a well respected special needs school, located in Trowbridge. Normally class sizes at this school tend to be around 15 students with several teaching assistants for support. Ideally the school are looking for a teacher that has experience in teaching children with special needs. The school are open to looking at both widely experienced teachers and those who have recently gained their teaching qualification.
The ideal teacher will be able to develop a differentiated curriculum for learners so all will have access to learning material. The teacher will also be able to lead the team in their own classroom as well as offer a voice to the wider school community. The school is part of a wider federation of specialist provisions that offer support to vulnerable children with a wide range of afflictions such as autism, cerebral palsy and down syndrome to name a few. The federation enjoys a great reputation for the work they do in special needs and this is a fab opportunity for a teacher to become a part of that team.
