Description
Axcis is seeking reliable special needs Teaching assistants to join an all-through special needs school in Hounslow. The school can offer both full and part-time roles starting in 2022. Depending on your experience and skills you will be working in either the Primary Secondary or College sites. Although it may not be required on a daily basis, willingness to provide personal care is essential to be considered suitable for any of the roles we have available.
Graded Outstanding by Ofsted in 2019, you will join a thriving special school for boys and girls aged from 4 to 19. You will be supporting a range of students with a variety of needs including ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) PMLD (profound and multiple learning difficulties) SLD (severe learning difficulty) The school is a short distance from a station and easily accessible by public transport.
To be suitable for this role you must have an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to pay for one. You will need to be available to start in the new academic year on either a full or part-time basis. Previous experience working in an education/SEND setting is preferable but not essential.
