Description
We are seeking to appoint a TA with Autism training and experience for a lovely Primary school in Chippenham. The work will be in the morning and will involve supporting the pupils with Autism in and out of the classroom. The ability to be creative approach and enthusiasm are essential as well as the familiarity of behaviour management techniques as some of the students have SEMH.
The ability to make inclusion a reality for all students with ASD and a contribution to developing their learning and social skills is essential as well as having strong behaviour management skills.
The keys to success you have:
-a caring personality, able to empathetically approach students with a range of needs
-a passion reading that you can use to motivate children to engage with books, inspiring lifelong readers
-a resilience unique to working with children!
-enthusiasm for a job which is never the same two days in a row!
-some voluntary or work experience in a school or with children in any setting
-an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to get one)
