Description
We are currently looking for a teaching assistant for a SEND teaching assistant role, working in a primary level in the Birmingham area. If you are looking to start-out in the education sector or gain experience working with children with SEND, this role might be a great fit for you.
Previous experience of working with individuals with SEND needs whether this be through a paid or voluntary position would be highly beneficial, however this is not compulsory to be considered for this vacancy, as training will be provided to ensure you are confident and comfortable in your role.
This position will be working in a primary school setting, working as a 1-to-1 SEND TA, supporting a variety of children throughout the school. You will be working full time, term time, Monday to Friday, during the hours of 8:30 till 3:30.
An enhanced DBS is required to start work. If you do not currently have a DBS on the update service, you will need to be able to get one (please note, a DBS costs £44.33, and it is £13 to put it on the update service).
