We are searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant (TA) to work in a friendly, vibrant primary school in central Chippenham. The school boasts an impressive ‘Outstanding’ from Ofsted, and are particularly proud of their commitment to reading!
You will be working 1-1 with a lovely Y2 child with Asperger’s. They are calm, with no challenging behaviours. They love school, but sometimes struggle with anxiety which impacts their confidence in socialising and their school work. The child loves maths and art, so passions for these subjects would really help you to build a rapport! This post is until the end of the academic year, but may become permanent for the right candidate.
This role is full-time starting from September. Hours are 8.30 to 3.30 with pay rates starting at £11.53 per hour. You will need to have a DBS on the Update Service for this role. This role is to start in September and is an on-going position.
