Are you a children’s sports coach looking to use your transferable skills in a school environment?
Axcis are keen to speak to candidates who have experience coaching children and young people and are looking to take the leap into a career in education. We are the country’s leading special educational needs agency, and we are always on the lookout for candidates with transferable skills. As a teaching assistant, your duties are varied, and no two days are the same. You will be working to support children with SEND in the classroom - this could include 1:1 support with a particular child or working with the whole class. You could be providing basic academic support and encouraging children who may struggle socially to engage with activities with peers around school.
