Description
Axcis are recruiting for an SEND teaching assistant to work in a primary school in Barnstaple, North Devon.
The school are looking for a 1:2 TA to work with two pupils in year 6 who have very different needs. 1 pupil has mobility issues and is working at a lower level than their peers, the support will be predominantly focused around academic support and ensuring that they do not injure themselves in any way. The 2nd pupil has SEMH and is joining the school, they will be quite unsettled and will need TA support to ensure they can form bonds with both the right candidate and their peers.
The school is on the outskirts of Barnstaple and are a 1 form entry, are easily accessible by car or public transport and have a superb reputation in the local area. The role starts ASAP and would be for the remainder of the academic year.
