Tyre Fitter vacancy – Southend-on-Sea
Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 basic + Overtime and Bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 6:00pm, no weekends
We are looking for an experienced Tyre Fitter to join our clients state of the art award winning workshop for a leading main dealer in Southend-on-Sea.

Tyre Fitter Role overview
Reporting directly to the Depot Manager the ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting
The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres in a safe and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working by themselves.
Tyre Fitter requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a full valid driving licence.
Have experience in fitting tyres, Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicles, in a Retail Tyre Depot
Having a basic knowledge of light vehicle maintenance would be advantageous
Tyre Fitter Responsibilities:
To fit any product specified by the Company to customer's vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer's vehicles whether that be in the Depot or by the roadside.
Repairing & replacing worn / damaged / defective tyres
To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
Ensure Vehicle Health Checks are carried out and customers advised accordingly
Completing all necessary paperwork in accordance with Company guidelines.
