The role will involve preparing statutory accounts for a wide variety of clients, supporting more senior team members with larger assignments, and assisting with tax compliance work where necessary. You will work closely with clients and partners alike, gaining hands-on experience across a broad portfolio and developing your technical and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:
Preparation of statutory accounts for a varied client base
Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping
Supporting senior team members with audits and larger accounts
Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
Supporting junior team members where required
Requirements:
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
