As an Audit Senior, you will play a central role in the delivery of audit engagements across a varied and interesting client portfolio, spanning owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and corporate clients. You will work closely with managers and partners, taking responsibility for the planning, fieldwork, and completion of audits while also supporting and mentoring junior team members. This is a broad and rewarding role within a firm that prides itself on technical excellence and a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

Leading and delivering audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio
Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact during audit fieldwork
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback
Liaising with managers and partners to ensure assignments are delivered on time and to a high standard

Requirements

ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist level, with a solid background in audit
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
