In this Business Services Senior role, you will oversee the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and corporate tax computations, while supporting and mentoring junior team members. You will liaise directly with clients, building strong relationships and providing practical business advice. Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
Assisting with corporate tax compliance
Managing a portfolio of clients and acting as their main point of contact
Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and practice regulations
Requirements:
ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
Strong experience preparing accounts within a firm of Chartered Accountants
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Excellent communication and client management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
