As a Business Services Senior, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and limited companies across a range of sectors. You will take ownership of the preparation and finalisation of accounts, manage associated compliance work, and act as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing clear and commercially relevant guidance. The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or studying towards, with solid experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. You will be confident managing your own workload, have strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to build lasting client relationships. Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Managing client relationships and acting as a primary point of contact for day-to-day queries and compliance matters
Overseeing the preparation of corporation tax returns and other associated compliance work
Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of more junior team members
Contributing to the wider growth and development of the business services department
Requirements:
ACA or ACCA qualified, or part-qualified with significant practice experience
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
Excellent communication and client management skills
Competency with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or CCH
