Vehicle Technician
Location: Edgware
Salary: up to £45,000 per annum, plus bonus, OTE £65,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 to 17.00, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8.00 to 13.00

We have a Vehicle Technician role at our clients Lexus Edgware dealership paying a basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience and brand accreditations, with an uncapped and realistic OTE of £20,000. There’s plenty of earning potential with our client who will also guarantee bonus whilst you’re on annual leave or on training.
As a Vehicle Technician, you would be responsible for reviewing work on customers vehicles, MOT’s (if qualified), ordering relevant parts and completing the work to the highest of standards. They are also accountable for the highest level of repair and maintenance.
This role would suit a main dealer Vehicle Technician who is looking to increase their OTE and knowledge of Hybrid technology, or a experienced Vehicle Technician from an independent background as we are happy to train and put you through accreditations.

About the role of Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester:
• Completing MOTs on customers vehicles
• Completing major and minor repairs
• Fault finding and fault diagnosis of cars
• Using diagnostic tools to find faults and repair as necessary
• Replacing parts and completing work where required
• Working with other centre areas (Service, Parts, etc) and keeping all informed
• Meeting or exceeding efficiency and productivity targets
• Conducting road tests with customers
• Light and full-service work
Experience Required to be a Vehicle Technician:
• Hold a valid MOT licence – Ideal
• Have worked previously to efficiency & productivity targets
• Take great care and pride in your work giving no return visits for customers
• Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
• Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
