We are delighted to be supporting a client in Essex to recruit a temporary Environmental Health Food Officer on a part-time basis until March 2027.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a full range of high-quality food hygiene inspections, with most of the work involving Category D and newly registered or unrated food businesses. To be considered, you will need previous experience of undertaking food hygiene inspections within an Environmental Health setting, along with the ability to carry out inspections to a high professional standard in line with relevant food safety legislation and procedures. Appropriate CIEH registration is required, as is up-to-date Continuing Professional Development (CPD), including evidence of at least 10 hours of core food training.
This is a one day per week role paying £45 per hour, although this may be negotiable. If you are interested, please get in touch as soon as possible.
