Roadside Technician
Location: Chester
Salary: up to £48,720 basic per annum, plus over time, company van, OTE £54,000 +
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday between the hours of 6.00am and 2.00am, including evenings, early mornings, weekends and bank holidays

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roadside Technician to join our client’s main site in Chester. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex issues. A passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality service is essential.

Role Overview - Roadside Technician
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
Requirements - Roadside Technician
• We are seeking a Level 3-qualified Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technician (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent); however, candidates with a Level 2 qualification will be considered, provided they can demonstrate their qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the vehicle workshop or working as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
• A full UK driving licence - no more than 9 points or bans on the licence
• Ability to demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
