As Tax Advisory Director, you will manage a varied portfolio of advisory projects, delivering commercially focused advice across areas such as succession planning, business sales, share schemes, and restructuring, whilst acting as the primary point of contact for clients and playing an active role in developing the team and the practice around you. Leeds has one of the UK’s most active regional tax markets, and this firm is well placed within it. Key Responsibilities
Managing a varied portfolio of tax advisory projects across a technically interesting client base
Providing proactive tax planning advice across a range of complex matters
Reviewing technical work prepared by junior team members
Building and maintaining strong client relationships across the portfolio
Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members at all levels
Contributing to business development and practice growth
Requirements
ACA and/or CTA qualified, or qualified by experience, with a strong tax advisory background
At least eight years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge across a range of taxes with the ability to interpret complex legislation
Proven experience managing senior client relationships and a varied advisory portfolio
A proactive, commercial mindset with a track record of developing junior staff
