Vehicle Technician Online
Location: Nottingham
Salary: up to £40,0000, no bonus or targets
Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 5:15 pm with occasional extended hours

We are seeking a talented and highly skilled remote Vehicle Technician Technician to leverage our client's diagnostics platform for fault finding, repair advice, key programming, and module coding. This role involves diagnosing and resolving automotive issues remotely across a variety of vehicles while providing expert support and guidance to onsite technicians.

Vehicle Technician role:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using OSCA’s diagnostic tools through our remote diagnostic portal.
• Provide technical support and repair advice to customers and their technicians via chat, mail, or phone.
• Interpret diagnostic codes and data, and recommend corrective actions to ensure a fix on the first contact.
• Maintain equipment and software updates, and continuously learn new techniques and tools.
• Work collaboratively with team members, sharing insights and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of diagnostic procedures and outcomes.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service quality.

Vehicle Technician requirements:
• Proven experience as an auto mechanic, preferably experienced in JLR, PSA, or Ford brands. But all experienced welcome to apply.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electronics, and electrical components of vehicles.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic software and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a real team player with a solution-oriented approach.
