The role will include Accounts Receivable and Credit Control, as well as assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts. 

Duties will include 
• Assisting with billing from the operating system and inputting/uploading of sales invoices into Sage 
• Processing of purchase invoices into Sage
• Processing ad hoc supplier payments when required 
• Allocation of supplier and customer receipts
• Monthly reconciliations including bank statements, debtors and creditor listings
• Other general ad hoc duties as and when required

Ideal candidate must have 
• GCSE – Minimum A-C Grade in Maths and English or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a larger team with a flexible can do attitude
• Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet set deadlines
• Detail Orientated

Finance Assistant

Great opportunity for an experienced Air Freight Import Clerk to join their team focussing on the aerospace, defence and pharmaceutical industries.

Role will involve all aspects of arranging Air Freight Import shipments from start to finish including processing customs entries.

Import Clerk

Role will  involve assisting the Branch manager and provide strong leadership within the Export Department and to assist in delivering excellent Customer service within the department as well as promoting a happy working environment for the team.

Duties will cover all aspects including - 

Customer Liaison – to receive and process customer bookings in a timely fashion. To build relationships with customer and overseas partners. To gain trust and become customer preferred supplier.

Systems / Software Knowledge – to utilise a range of in-house systems to process customer bookings to meet the requirements requested by the customer.

Customs Compliance – to ensure all shipments are in-line and comply with the regulations set out in country of origin and UK customs.

Documentation Management – to ensure for each shipment the correct documentation is raised and received on arrival.

UK Export Process – to ensure all arrivals are checked in and available for collection and delivery to meet customer requirements.

Operational Compliance – monitoring carrier performance to ensure all shipments move as agreed to the customer requirement.

Commercial Awareness – to understand and use the current carrier rates to ensure RIF achieve a positive margin.

Customer Invoicing – to ensure all invoices raised include all costs incurred and are charged as per the agreed rates.

Department Leadership and Management – Assisting the Export Manager to lead the Export team to deliver excellent department performance and customer service.

Build Customer Relationships – ensure the retention and growth of key accounts and local customers through delivery of operational and customer excellence

Key Responsibilities

•On occasion, attending site to monitor unload/load of ocean containers/trucks for events.
•Managing post flights, ensuring cargo arrives as booked.
•Daily billing on import and export files.

Essential & desirable skills, qualifications, and experience
•At least 5 years’ experience working in freight forwarding operations.
•Customs knowledge essential
•Multi model experience highly - desirable
•Ability to work independently and successfully prioritise a busy workload.
•Five-year work history required with no employment gaps.
•Clear DBS required.
•Experience using Boxtop and salesforce - desirable.

Hours are Monday to Friday with a weekend cover rota.

Freight Operator - Events

Our client an international logistic forwarder based in Colnbrook require a courier operations/warehouse assistant 

The Operations Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all export material is manifested and shipped via the correct routing and/or agent and will be responsible for checking the weights and dimensions of all exports and completing the declarations to customs. 

Duties:
•	Respond to internal and external emails timely and in a professional manner
•	Communicate with internal departments for queries, additional shipping document information needed and shipment        
        related issues.
•	Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
•	Booking Freight / Booking Flights with airline/agents
•	Raising Export Custom entries on CDS 
•	Customs software using Descartes full training will be provided however experience is desired 
•	Manifesting & Pre alerting of flights 
•	Raising T1 Documents for road shipments (1 per day)
•       Import SFD and FDE Clearances knowledge would be beneficial 
•	T1/T2 clearances/discharges
•	Temporary Admission clearances
•	Importation & Exportation of ATA Carnet / Cites goods
•	Assisting with warehouse inventory controls, which typically involves using weigh and dimming machinery. 
•	Forklift Licence desirable but not essential
•	DG awareness desirable but not essential

Qualifications/Skills required:

Courier Operations Assistant (Sunday to Thursday)

Our established client a well known global freight forwarder based in Staines are looking for a freight pricing agent to join their team 

Role duties are to provide bespoke Air cargo quotes to UK customers in a quick and timely fashion, focusing on competitive rates and offering as accurate solutions based on quote offerings 

•	Providing high levels of customer service with a can do attitude 
•	Processing quotations delivering both customer expectations as well as company growth & profit expectations
•	Provide quotations in a good time frame with 100% accuracy 
•	Maintenance of Reports & some statistical analysis needed to monitor market trends a KPI reporting of wins and losses 
•	Assisting the internal departments with booking placements and new bookings ensuring files are accurately billed as quoted
•	Utilise the necessary software packages to facilitate the quote process and work with carriers and overseas colleagues to ensure we have the correct commercial scrutiny applied to commercial RFQ,s & quotations

Candidates Skills :-
•	Good literacy and numerical skills with a customer service background a definite advantage. A knowledge of freight forwarding would be advantageous but not truly essential 
•	Knowledge of Excel and other basic Microsoft applications ie outlook etc 
•	Able to problem solve and be adaptive to a fast paced working environment

Pricing Analyst Coordinator 

We are now looking for a an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients team based in Chertsey/ Lyne to help and support operations. 

Monday to Friday  10:00 - 19:00 hrs (Supervisor will be required to cover evening supervisor due to holidays & sickness days currently 4pm to 1am/finish but is subject to change 
Weekends on rotation basis (Not currently required -usually 1 in 4) 
  

Responsibilities:
•Overseeing the daily operation of the warehouse and warehouse staff to ensure shipments are handled correctly and dispatched in a timely manner.
•Unloading/loading vehicles.
•Building & wrapping pallets.
•X-raying of freight.
•Check weighing freight and updating/notifying accordingly.
•Building aircraft containers (AKE’s and PMC’s) for dispatch to the airlines.
•Finalising documentation such as MAWB’s and BOL’s.

Candidate Requirements must have :- 
- Forklift licence
- X-Ray License - Level COS 
- Physically Fit 
- PC Literate (Proficient in Word Excel & Teams)
- Driving licence

Warehouse Supervisor 

This is a new role for a Freight Forwarder based near Basingstoke who are looking to add to their team.

Role will be very hands on involved in all aspects of Multi-modal Freight operations, both Exports and Imports working in a lively fast paced environment.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in Air / Ocean Freight, Imports and/or Exports. Role will also involve handling some specialist / project cargo for clients in the events/sporting sectors..

Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.  Knowledge of the Boxtop system would be an advantage.




Freight Operations Coordinator

A new role has arisen with one of our Colnbrook clients for a Fine Arts Coordinator

Role will involve working with clients to arrange shipments of Fine Arts around the world.

Our client is looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of Air Export Operational procedure including Customs procedures - ideally with knowledge of High Value entries. (Import Air Road & Sea freight Knowledge would be also desirable & well as Ocean Export Knowledge  together with handling International movements for Exhibitions however training can be given for this if required) 


Role will involve 
General administration of the Art work Section, 
Data Entry in NetFreight operational system
Assisting in customs documentation (export & import) Descartes 
Development of Knowledge Air, Sea & Road Freight markets and procedures 
Airline Bookings preparation of export documentation
Handling of original documents such as licences ATA Carnets CITIES 
Liaising with the Transport Department to book collections deliveries & airport transfers  
Occasional trips to Heathrow area airline handling sheds, HMRC / Border Force offices and other on-airport activities during business hours as required

Ideal candidate with 3 +years experience in the import / export department
Fine Art shipments knowledge would be an advantage
