The role would be ideally suited to either:
•	Someone new to the logistics/healthcare supply chain industry and looking to start their career; or
•	A candidate with around 1-2 years' experience in a similar operational role (imports/exports/transport or warehousing).

This will be a varied, hands-on position covering all aspects of our operations, including:
•	Warehouse and inventory-related activities
•	Imports and exports
•	Transport coordination and administration
•	General operational support across the business
From time to time, the role may also require the individual to undertake local collections and deliveries, so a full, clean UK driving licence is essential.

Operations Coordinator/trainee

New role available in a busy Air Freight department you will be working as part of a friendly team processing Air Freight Export shipments 

All aspects start to finish including customer bookings and queries, airline bookings and documentation and customs entries. Import Experience would also be beneficial 

Ideally minimum of 1-2 years of  Air Freight experience with CDS Entries.
Would suit a second jobber 
Use of Cargowise system an advantage 

Hours are Monday to Friday 0900 - 1730

Salary 28K  however on call rota available & flexible and can be guaranteed extra shifts earning up to an additional 12 K per annum

Our client is an independent Forwarder looking for a motivated candidate happy to work as a small busy team.

Working within a small team you will be involved in all aspects of the day to day Export operations. Some knowledge of Air Freight Imports would be beneficial.

Transport operator will ideally have a minimum of 1-2 years previous experience working in the Freight Forwarding sector 

Transport Duties:-
•	Organisation & planning for transport requirements using leased vehicle and subcontractors.
•	The passing of purchase invoices reserving and raising sales invoices in accordance with the company’s     
        quality system.
•	Production, checking and resolving of weekly job transaction reports

You will be involved with organising shipments mainly via airfreight or courier 90% Export / 10% Import and ensuring that everything is running smoothly and providing excellent customer service at all stages of the process.

Duties will include:-
Coordinate and manage shipments via Air, Courier, Road & Sea and ensuring shipments adhere to relevant constraints (time budget scope & quality) 
Monitor the orders using the computer system 
Be the first point of contact for our partners and importers 
Suggest improvements in operational processes within the Freight & Customs team

An exciting opportunity has presented itself with our client based in West Drayton. The job role will primarily be airfreight focused with some road freight.

Duties:
• Timely and effective communication with Customers, partners and internal departments via e-mail/telephone. 
• Updating / verifying the Alliance Shipping Order Management System with customer booking details. 
• Liaise with Operations and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are delivered upon. 
• Effective monitoring to ensure collections are completed within the agreed timelines. 
• Ensure that all Collection consignments are conforming to correct information. 
Proactive problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise. 
•Ensure consignments are rated correctly in order to Invoice in an accurate and timely manner. 
• Provide KPI and reports both externally and internally where required 
•Resolve Credit Management Queries where necessary. 
• General Day to Day administrative duties. 


The successful candidate will need 2+ years experience in a similar role, DG training would be an advantage 

Hours: Mon-Fri 0845-1700hrs ( 1 hr & 15 mins for lunch) 
Max 40K Salary subject to experience
