the role.

This is an exciting opportunity for either a NEBOSH Qualified H & S Professional or an Engineer who would like a change of career and to be supported in taking their H & S Qualification to join a lovely, friendly and well-established Felixstowe-based business to look after everything Health and Safety related.

You will have overall management responsibilities for Health, Safety & Environmental matters to ensure the company meets all legal requirements, as well as of course as providing a safe environment for everyone to be in, customers, staff and visitors. The company has 4 sites in total, but you would mainly be based in Felixtowe with travel to the other locations as required for audit or to onboard a new starter etc.  

Day to day you will carry out annual reviews of risk assessments or produce new ones when required, you will hold the reporting for any near misses or accidents and carry out investigations should anything arise.  You will chair regular H & S Meetings, and most importantly carry on the commitment to H & S through everything you do and drive this unwaveringly throughout the business……….there are 42 members of staff in all and they are used to working safely, but of course, need keeping informed of any changes and be reminded if somethings gets forgotten, this is definitely not a full-time desk job, you will know everyone and will be constantly on the lookout for ways to improve safety and enforcing current procedures where needed.

Digital Marketing Executive

the role.

This is a true Account Management / Customer Services position, you will be working for a small and successful IT Support company ensuring their clients’ needs are always met and that they always receive proactive and thoughtful customer service.  

You will assist with new requirements from existing customers, offering guidance on solutions to suit their needs, and assisting them in the best way possible.  From there you will prepare quotes and project manage their new piece of work through to completion and beyond.  The requirements from your customers could be anything regarding their IT infrastructure, from preparing for a new user, changing operating systems, purchasing of new hardware / software.  

You don’t need to be a technical person for this role, although an interest would of course be good, but you will have all the technical back up and support you need to assist you, what you need to do is really focus on looking after your clients and making sure communication is top notch.

Customer Care Executive

the role.

In this varied role, you will be key in providing support to operations and engineering by managing requisitions for goods and services and CAPEX technical projects as well ag being the CMMS Administrator.

You will play a pivotal part in cost reduction from the design through the production life of the purchased equipment.  You will be locating suppliers, and discussing quality, capacity, delivery and cost.  Perform regular assessments of suppliers and recommend improvements where required. You will also make procurement decisions and recommendations for alternative suppliers.  Part of the role will be to negotiate statements of works, supply and warranty agreements, and the preparation of purchase orders and any amendments.  The spare parts warehouse will also be under your wing, ensuring they are both maintained, organised and that spare parts are kept and a relevant level.

The machines are pressurised, which means they have to be covered by safety regulations, so accurate logging of work, dealing with any issues that arise on an engineer's visit, and issuing documents are important parts of the role.  At the end of each day you will catch up with your customers and engineers to ensure all work is completed and any further requirements dealt with.
