This is an exciting opportunity to join the central services team of this independent provider of bespoke private wealth, corporate administration and yacht services. The Accounting Assistant will play a key role within the Central Finance function, supporting accounting and financial reporting across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Overseeing data input performed by bookkeepers within the wider group.
• Assisting with month-end processes, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, management accounts, and financial statements.
• Supporting the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including P&L accounts and balance sheets.
• Contributing to the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Aiding compliance with internal controls and external regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinating audit activities and providing support during reviews.
• Building relationships with internal stakeholders to deliver financial insights and expertise.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a similar finance or accounting role. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A team-oriented approach is essential, along with the capacity to work in a dynamic environment and uphold the organisation’s core values. This role requires a proactive individual who demonstrates initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
