As Accounts Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management team in delivering a high-quality accounts service to a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for reviewing work prepared by junior staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the department. Key Responsibilities
Reviewing and managing accounts assignments across a varied portfolio of clients
Acting as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
Supporting managers and partners on complex assignments and technical matters
Overseeing workflow and ensuring assignments are delivered on time and to the highest standard
Supervising, coaching, and developing junior and semi-senior members of the team
Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to add value for clients
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified with a solid background in accounts preparation and review
At least four years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work to deadlines
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial reporting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a confident client-facing manner
A motivated team player with a genuine desire to progress into a senior leadership role
