Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a highly progressive firm in Newcastle-under-Lyme who are seeking an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.

This opportunity would suit an AAT Level 3 or 4 Qualified individual (or ACCA/ ACA student) working in practice seeking structured career progression, flexibility and a fantastic study package

The successful individual will be given a personal development plan with a direct route to Manager post qualification.

You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors, covering accounts preparation, tax and bookkeeping.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, LLPs and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of VAT returns
Bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Dealing with client queries

You:

AAT Level 3 or 4 Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student
1- 2 years practice experience is essential
Double entry bookkeeping and accounts prep experience
Strong communication skills
