We are working with a leading firm in Derby who, due to continued growth, are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their Business Services team.

Ideal for an ACCA/ ACA Qualified individual (PQ or MAAT also considered) working in practice looking for a great work/ life balance, hybrid working and a tailored career progression plan (to Client Manager).

You will be introduced to a varied and interesting client base from a broad range of industry sectors, delivering  accounting and tax services, building and enhancing pre-existing relationships.

The Role:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation/ review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Training clients on accountancy software
Dealing with client queries

You:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified
MAAT or ACA/ ACCA Part Qualified also considered
Minimum 2 years Practice experience is essential
Good working knowledge of accounts prep under FRS105 & FRS102
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
