Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with an established firm of Chartered Accountants in Nottingham who, due to consistent growth are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their team.

This presents an excellent opportunity for an ACCA/ ACA Qualified individual (MAAT also considered) working in practice looking for continual professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to an impressive portfolio of clients from an array of industry sectors, providing accounts and tax services involving regular client meetings.

The Role:

Managing a portfolio of clients
Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Preparation of management accounts
Training clients on accountancy software
Reviewing the work of junior staff
Supporting Partners
Dealing with client queries

You:

ACA / ACCA Part Qualified/ Qualified
MAAT Qualified also considered
Good working knowledge of FRS102 reporting standards
Knowledge of Xero/ Sage/ Iris  (ideally)
Previous experience of working in practice is essential
