Axcis Education are working closely to support a Primary School in Barnstable who are actively looking for a bubbly, kind, and caring After School Play Worker to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This rewarding role supports children who require childcare after school hours, ensuring they enjoy a safe, stimulating, and fun environment every day. The hours for this role are 3.30-5.30, working Monday to Friday. This will be an hourly rate of pay between £13.50-£15 p/h, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.

Your Role Will Include:

-Supervising and engaging children in a range of fun, age-appropriate activities
-Preparing and providing healthy snacks
-Creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
-Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
-Maintaining a safe, organised, and well-managed environment

-Someone with a cheerful, nurturing nature
-Well-organised and reliable with a proactive attitude
-Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
-Previous experience in childcare or playwork (desirable)
