A not-for-profit organisation on the Fylde Coast require an Assistant Management Accountant due to internal promotion and restructure. This position will initially be appointed on a fixed term contract basis of 12 months, with potential of permanency for the successful candidate.
This is a part-time office based role of 30 hours per week. This can be worked over 4 or 5 days to suit the individual.

Your New Role as Assistant Management Accountant:
• Support with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Variance analysis
• Working closely with budget holders to provide meaningful financial insight and advice
• Support with budget setting and forecasting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including purchase and sales ledger
• Processing journals
• Support with payroll processing
• Assist in projects including an upcoming finance system implementation
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will have exposure to month end/management accounting processes, with solid understanding of transactional accounting including AP and AR. Good systems skills including Excel and knowledge of finance software is required and you will be able to quickly pick up and adapt to new systems and processes within a finance function.
