Description

A well-established fiduciary services provider is seeking an Assistant Manager to manage a portfolio of trusts and corporate structures. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, support business development, and oversee the effective administration of structures in line with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day administration of trusts and companies, including:
o Cash management, payments, and exercising discretionary powers
o Maintenance of records and review of investment portfolios
• Monitor chargeable time, raise invoices, and follow up on aged debtors
• Act as primary and/or backup relationship manager for clients, identifying opportunities to enhance relationships
• Prepare for and attend client meetings, ensuring follow-up actions are completed
• Supervise and support junior team members by setting SMART objectives, providing feedback, and ensuring timely completion of delegated tasks
• Maintain accurate client due diligence (CDD) records in line with regulations
• Take responsibility for ongoing professional development

Skills and Experience
• Minimum of four years’ relevant trust administration experience
• Working towards a professional qualification such as ICSA Certificate or STEP Foundation
• Strong knowledge of offshore trust and company administration
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (intermediate level)
• Strong organisational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of Guernsey’s regulatory environment
• Ability to problem-solve and encourage others to deliver results
