Overview:
We're working with a well-established Plumbers Merchant, currently on the lookout for an Assistant Branch Manager to support their team in driving day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a people-focused environment. You'll be involved in everything from identifying new sales opportunities to ensuring customers walk away with the right solutions for their needs. You’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where team spirit and customer satisfaction go hand-in-hand.

Strong relationship-building skills will be essential – both with customers and colleagues – and you’ll be someone who takes pride in helping a branch perform at its best.

Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Branch Manager to meet and exceed the branch sales targets
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Managing the sales office, branch purchasing and stock control
• Liaising with customers via phone, face-to-face and email, providing excellent levels of customer service at all times
• Work as a team, assisting in other areas of the branch as/when needed

Requirements:
• Plumbers Merchant background
• Driving Licence
• A pro-active approach to sales, with a strong desire and ability to win and grow new business
• Experience of customer relationship management and developing a true partnership approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player

Hours:
• Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Saturdays: Alternate Saturday mornings 8am - 12pm
